My grandmother Charlotte Powell married Lawrence Rheaume around 1939. Also graduated from OFA in 1942. She does not have any old pictures. Is there anyone that would have a class picture or any old pictures of her or the Powell, Rheaume family. Thank you.

I am looking for more data on my great grandparents, Patrick Moore and Harriet Landon, married at St Mary's in 1850 and my grandfather Peter Lawrence Moore born there in 1855. As well as his siblings.Last known address was in 1880 at 455 King St. I will appreciate all the help I can get as I am new at this! Thanks.

I've never been to Ogdensburg, but I did have relatives from my mother's family living there after they came to America - from 1837 to 1939. They lived on Mechanic Street, and many are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery. I'm writing to thank all the people who have been so helpful as I've pursued the ancestral search - the librarians, historians, church secretaries and others.

Writing now on the eve of destruction.Hurricane RITA can blow me
and my little world away in just a few heartbeats. People, this IS the big one. We are about twelve feet above sea level, and it floods from just heavy rain. Angleton is a ghost town, all the windows covered in plywood, the parking lots empty. So I`m off tonight to Richmond, Tx. About 50 miles north of here. I`ll ride it out there because my place may not be here after Saturday.

I had the opportunity to visit your community during Sept. 7th to the 10th, I enjoyed myself a lot. I enjoyed the shops I visited and the restaurants. I am from Western canada and it was my first time visiting this part of your great country, and I plan to visit again. the people are wonderful as are the sites and sounds.

It was nice to be back home again to St. Lawerence county. I grew up in Heuvelton, Grand parents on my father's side lived in Ogdensburg. I was home in June. Forgot how humid it could be!!! It was good seeing places I remember growing up. Don't miss the snow and cold tho. lol Phoenix doesn't get much snow.

Great site. brings back many good memories. My Mom is still there and various other relatives so I visit often. Not the same as when I grew up there tho. so many trees gone and I miss the old downtown.
