I would like to thank you for sharing your then and now photos.I enjoyed seeing them very much.I remember alot of the "old Oldensburg" from when i was a kid,and they brought back some nice memories, but i must say it is sad to see how much Ogdensburg has changed, and not "for the good" as far as I see,But once again Thank You for some fond memories.

I absolutely love your website, it is a jewel
Must say, was and still searching for info regarding ggfather Joseph A Seguin
Lived in your city from 1885 to 1902
Ggm Emilia Blay Seguin left with 4 surviving children for Canada
My question is Joseph A Seguin b.1862. died unknown in your city or not between 1894 and 1900 by census report
I only have a report of him being a pilot, so would imagine he was either on a tugboat, or ship serving your city on the St-Lawrence.is there a way, a link, a person that could help me on this search for Joseph A. Seguin, I know for the others in Cda that survived 4 children of 17.Thank you

I use to live at 612 Elizabeth St. Ross Jermano was my grandfather, City and Civil Engineer in Ogdensburg for many years. I remember the Ames Shopping Mall, and A&W Rootbeer, and Shurtleffs Small Corner Store. I helped Grandfather surveying many times around Ogdensburg. Jim Evans is my uncle from Morristown. I especially liked the Bridge connecting Ogdensburg to Canada. Too Cold for me. Miss St. Mary's Church, and Fr. Chapin and Bishop Stanislaus. And most of all miss seeing the Amish people and their lovely buggies and pies. Hello to my sister Pam and Todd who still live there.
